Essaouira (Riad Cinnamon Superior Room)

The decor in the intimate Essaouira rooom is inspired by the romantic Moroccan port of the same name. Upstairs is the sleeping area which has a great view accross to the decorated wood balcony of the Meknes suite and down into the Riad courtyard. The comfortable double bed is 160 cm wide and 2metres long. Sheets are egyptian cotton and the duvet is filled with natural silk to keep guests cool in summer and warm in winter.

A pretty staircase leads along a balcony and down to the atmospheric sitting area. This part of the suite also has a nautical feel with intricate hand crafted copper and wrought iron decorations.  The lamps in the luxurious Essaouira suite are beautifully decorated in the Fes style throwing shadows wich further enhance the atmosphere at night time.

The relaxed seating area houses a sofa which can be made up as a single bed. On the floor is a hand made berber rug and there is a sony Bravia flat screen tv with satellite channels, a  minifridge and a convenient wardrobe.

The bathroom is a real feature of this suite with it’s luxurious double sink and shower with cosy double ended mini bath- a real extravagance in water conscious marrakech.

This room is priced at £140 (Euros 168) per night as a double or twin room including a substantial breakfast served at the time of your choice.  With our current internet booking rate the Essaouira Suite is fantastic value for two at just £112 (Euros 134). A third person can be accommodated in the sitting area at a charge of twenty pounds (Euros 24).
